Hi Bloggers, just a quick one to say Thank you to everyone that made it to our Shopping Evening last friday night. It was a great success really busy with a lovely christmassy atmosphere! The girls with there own stalls did really well too which was great! It's lovely to make an effort and invite clients and there friends to a bit more of a social evening at the salon. Hello lovely Bloggers!!!! Its a been a busy weeks at the salon lots of trimming, colouring etc etc. We are really looking forward to tomorrow night which will be our 3rd christmas shopping evening at the salon! This year we have got some lovely goodies from O.P.I. they have brought out there christmas range - inspired from the upcoming film the 'Muppets' which are amazingly sparkly and fabulous! TIGI have got some lovely gift boxes which are an absolute bargain as they are going to have 20% off! We have got curl sets, blondes, volume and loads more we think they make a lovely christmas prezzie! Also tomorrow night our dermalogica rep is coming down to do a 'skin bar' event. This is a great way to try before you buy and get a feel for the products! With 20% off as well you can grab yourself a real bargain! They have got some lovely gift boxes which will be great for family or friends to open up on Christmas Day!!! Also for the first time tomorrow night we have invited some local Craftswomen to the salon to give them a chance to sell and share there goodies with our clients we have - Dribble Monkeys- Kate sells baby dribble bibs in loads of different designs and patterns. She also sells baby accessories! The Old Farmhouse Jewelery - Victoria designs and makes lovely silver pieces. From Earnings to bangles to wedding rings. She can also take commissions! Love Gems Designs - Gem is a fab artist who now makes her own cards, prints and canvases. She also has made some beautiful christmas decorations to make your tree look the biz! Some come and support your local salon and support local crafters! mince pies, mulled wine and nibbles should tempt you a little bit as well! |

With the weather being so miserable this morning it was lovely to see a christmas glow in the salon! Amazing colours and sooooooooooo sparkly they are really fab! We recently went on a Red Revival colour course in Truro. They talked about all of Keune's red range and different techniques of how to achieve brilliant results! Hello lovely people, Hope everyone is well! We are busy bees at the salon(hence not much blogging!) But its fabulous to be busy. We have started planning christmas in the salon. I no CHRISTMAS! But time goes so fast and the weeks tick away! We have put a date in the diary for our Christmas Shopping Evening which is Friday the 9th ofDecember. Its an evening when all of our stock has 20% off. Its a great time to pick up hair and beauty presents or to treat yourself! We have some lovely TIGI and Dermalogica gift sets, fabulous O.P.I nail polish's and goodies. This year we are also inviting some local independant crafters who want to show off there stuff!. Hello everyone, just a quick blog before the christmas chaos! Well the salon is very busy getting everyone glammed up for christmas! Our christmas shopping evening was a great success it was lovely to see our clients grabbing bargains and getting involved in the christmas spirit with mince pies and yummy mulled wine!! About 3 weeks ago we had a break in at the salon. It was a great shock to us and all of our staff. We had a laptop, 3 tip jars, 2 pairs of clippers and all of our RNLI christmas card money stolen. We always sell christmas cards for the RNLI every year this year we had raised nearly £350 pounds! We just felt devastated that charity money had been stolen! But last week we had a lovely surprise of a anonymous donation towards the RNLI fund of £350pound! What with the other donations we have collected from customers we have now raised well over £400 pounds! Which is amazing! So who ever it was we really appreciate it, it had shown that there is still a great community spirit in St Just. We would like to wish all of our customers, clients and friends a fabulous christmas and look forward to seeing you all in 2011!
